WELCOME TO MARINA BAY MIRI SARAWAK

Sea Horse

Thursday, April 22, 2010

The landmark of the Marina Bay Seafood Restaurant is a huge bronze seahorse facing the sea. It's the official mascot (?) of Miri, just like ours is the swan. Sibu is called Swan City for a reason...and no, I know we've not actually achieved city status yet, Narz. :p

Balinese and Siamese Themes

The architecture of Marina Bay Seafood Restaurant is heavily inspired by Balinese and Siamese themes and attention is paid to the most minor details, giving it an authentic ambiance of a marina retreat.

The Sea In Miri Is A Deep Blue

Side Of The Marina Bay Seafood Restaurant

Marina Bay Seafood Restaurant

Marina Bay Seafood Restaurant

Marina Bay Seafood Restaurant adalah suatu bentuk usaha makan yang baru dibina di marina Miri dekat patung kuda laut ikonik menghadap laut. Kim dan Mark ingin check it out di malam hari tetapi cukup baik untuk mengakomodasi jadual saya dengan membawa saya ke sana untuk makan siang saja. :)

Review of 1st Borneo Cup Yachting Challenge

Review of 1st Borneo Cup Yachting Challenge

The inaugural regatta in October 2003 saw the eventual start list of 11 keel boats representing Australia, United Kingdom, France, Labuan, Sarawak, Brunei Darul Salam and United States. Not to be outdone by their bigger brothers, 40 dinghy sailors of the Optimist, Laser and 470s class put in their fair share of competitive sailing in Miri Bay over the last two days.

The boat with the name spelt the same backwards, "Ulumulu" emerged as the first winner of the Borneo Cup Challenge trophy. The custom Sydney 46, owned by Troy Yaw and skippered by Bill Nichols, won the cup "by a very close margin" in the words of Principal Race Officer, Mark Pryke.
